About us
About AirServiceOnline
We publish practical air travel information. No tours, no packages, no pressure to book anything.
What AirServiceOnline is
AirServiceOnline is a travel information website run by AirServiceOnline LLC in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. The site covers the practical mechanics of air travel: airports, flights, connections, layovers, arrivals and route planning. It is not a travel agency, and it does not operate tours.
The idea came out of a simple pattern. People rarely need a whole travel plan written for them. They need one specific answer, usually quickly, and usually the day before they fly.
The Air Desk concept
An airport information desk gives you a direct answer and points you in the right direction. We built the site around that behaviour. Each guide answers a question a traveller actually asks, then links to the next question that tends to follow it.
That structure keeps things honest too. If a rule varies by airline or airport, we say so rather than pretending there is one universal answer.

Mission & values
Clear information, honestly framed
We would rather publish a shorter answer that is accurate than a long one that sounds confident and is not.
Clarity first
Plain language, no jargon for its own sake, and no padding to hit a word count.
Practical usefulness
Every guide should help someone make a decision, not just describe a topic.
Honest limits
Rules change and vary by carrier. We flag what to verify rather than guess.
Transparency
Where a link is a partner or affiliate link, we say so. Editorial content stays independent.

Team and company
AirServiceOnline is run by a small editorial team of frequent flyers, former travel support staff and writers who spend more time in terminals than they planned to. Guides are drafted by the person closest to the subject, then reviewed for clarity and for anything that has changed since it was written.
We keep the team small on purpose. It is easier to hold a consistent voice and a consistent standard across a library this size.
Careers
We hire occasionally, mostly for editorial and research work: airport guides, route guides, fact checking and updates. If you know a hub airport well, or you have worked airside, that experience counts more than a polished portfolio. Send a short note and two writing samples to our contact address and mention which section you would want to work on.
Partnerships
We are open to working with travel technology providers, flight search partners and accommodation platforms whose products fit the practical nature of the site. We do not publish claims about partnerships that are not in place, and commercial arrangements never buy editorial coverage. Partnership enquiries go through the contact page.
Responsible business approach
Travel has costs beyond the fare. Where it is relevant we mention rail alternatives, sensible routing that avoids unnecessary extra sectors, and the practical side of slower travel. We also try to keep the site light, accessible and free of intrusive advertising.

Plan the practical side of your next flight
Start with a route guide, check the airport you are flying through, then work out what your layover actually allows.
